MB: SUPERMICRO X10DRH-iT

Proc: 2x INTEL Xeon E5-2620V3 2.4GHz 15MB 6C/12T

I have a question regarding Intel P3608.

i don't know if we get all the performance from the NVMe Intel P3608.

is there any other way to test the performance?

thx

Hello S.G.,

We have reviewed your logs together with our engineering team.

The good news is that your drive is not being affected by any throttling issues.

The one item that would help optimize your random write results would be to further over provision your SSD. This can be accomplished using the Intel® SSD Data Center Tool and the Maximum LBA command http://www.intel.com/content/dam/support/us/en/documents/solid-state-drives/ssd-software/Intel_SSD_D... (User Guide, Section 2.2.2.4, Page 37).

Over provisioning your drive by 10% should help you achieve maximum performance. Since the P3608 has a dual controller, you will need to do this for each "drive" while un-partitioned. See attached image.

Best regards,

Carlos A.

p.s.: why (sometimes), "isdct.exe show -intelssd", doesn't show my Intel P3608 ?
