Hello Timmerdanny,

According to the following https://www.hpe.com/us/en/product-catalog/servers/proliant-servers/pip.specifications.hpe-proliant-d... link, the server is compatible with the NVMe* storage SSDs, just like the http://ark.intel.com/products/series/79629/Intel-SSD-DC-P3500-Series Intel® SSD DC P3500 Series. We do suggest you get in touch with https://www.hpe.com/us/en/contact-hpe.html HPE* in order to verify this information, based on the two form factor we offer for this model (Add-In Card & 2.5").Regards,Nestor C

Hi Nestor,

Everytime I contact HPE advisor they advise their own branded SSD's. Their own SSD's are 2,5 times more exspansive than the Intel SSD's are. Because I deployed another HP server before with 3th party disks I know 3th party disks are working in the HP server.

Hi Timmerdanny,

Hardware wise, your server should support our NVMe* drives, as it shows fully support with NVMe*.Regards,Nestor C
