Intel 600p1tb extremely slow writes after firmware update PSF121C

After updating to the latest firmware my write speeds are that of a normal HD.

Any update to solve this issue? My bad news is recently update firmware to PSF121C and fact performance downgrade problems. Can roll back to F109C firmware?

Hello Intel support,

I have the same problem. After updating a brand-new SSDPEKKW512G7, the writing speed is much lower as you can see here:

Old firmware 109:

New firmware 121:

This issue was reported more than three months ago! So I have a few questions to you:

• Why can't you fix this bug within that long time?
• Why is this faulty firmware still downloadable?
• Why did you release a new Solid State Drive Toolbox 3.4.7 with this faulty firmware on 9/8/2017?
• Why is it not possible to downgrade the firmware back to version 109?

I would never had that update installed on my new SSD if I knew about hat bug! So what should I do now?

As the problem was reported on 06/01/2017 and there is no solution until now, I returned my SSD to the local dealer and I got a new one. I would suggest that you try the same if you have the possibility.

Warning to all users who still have the old firmware on their SSD: DO NOT INSTALL THE FIRMWARE UPDATE TO PSF121C ON YOUR SSD!!!
