Will a Intel 530 msata ssd play nicely with bitlocker? I mean utilizing the hardware encryption and what not.

Hello Jaman42
We offer a standard encryption of this drive which is called AES 256 bit. You can also set up a password on the drive if your BIOS allows you to do so.*Please bear in mind that if a password is set up at BIOS level, you will need to have it safe somewhere because if you forget it, there is no way you can reset it.
*However, if you set up a password through a 3rd-party application such as Bitlocker* we encourage you to contact them in order to get further information on this.
On our best effort to assist you, please take a look at this link: https://helgeklein.com/blog/2015/01/how-to-enable-bitlocker-hardware-encryption-with-ssd/ How to Enable BitLocker Hardware Encryption with SSDs • Helge Klein
