How to install RAID (IRST) driver for PCIe SSD 750?

I have set up two AIC SSD 750 drives in CPU-connected PCIe sockets of Gigabyte GA-Z170MX-Gaming 5.

I have installed Windows 8.1 Professional 64 bit on a separate SSD (Plextor) and run the follwoing;

https://downloadcenter.intel.com/downloads/eula/25091/Intel-Rapid-Storage-Technology-Intel-RST-RAID-... SetupRST.exe

Version: 14.0.0.1143 (Previously Released)

Date: 06/04/2015

https://downloadcenter.intel.com/ja/downloads/eula/23929/-Solid-State-Drive-NVMe-?httpDown=https://d... Intel Windows NVMe driver 1.3.0.1007 x32-x64.zip

Version: 1.3.0.1007

Date: 2015/09/25

I expected that the driver of SSD 750 would be updated from Microsoft driver to Intel's IRST driver, but nothing happened.

What's wrong?

Thanks JFFulcrum,

I found the answere from another post:

The answere was that the driver was installed but I was looking for a wrong entry in the device manager. The drives are listed under Storage Controllers, but not under Disk Drives.

Successful reports of PCIE RAIDs with RST was only on chipset-connected slots.

You checked the controller part in device manager? Drive-part will not be updated.
