Hi! I would like to know is the SSD disk 512 GB, INTEL 545s Series, 2.5", SATA III, 3D2, TLC, SSDSC2KW512G8X1 compatible with 24inch iMac (early 2008)?

I would be more inclined to ask Apple this question. Also, do you know if the iMac supports sata 3? If not, then what is the point?
