Hi ,
We are using Intel DC P3600 800G drive in our storage array, does this SSD drive supports SGL feature?.
we are using intel SPDK while debugging we found the NVMe controller doesn't support SGL
(gdb) p ns->ctrlr->flags & SPDK_NVME_CTRLR_SGL_SUPPORTED
$1 = 0
Is there any setup or settings which we are missing to set the device to support SGL?
Please find the drive information below and let me know if you need more information.

Hi Nestor C,
I have gone through some of the Intel NVMe SSD drive products, I can see DC D3600 specification mentioned that it supports SGL. Can you please confirm the same?. Please find the below link for the DC D3600 spec.

Hi Nestor C,
I couldn't understand, the earlier reply you said none of the Intel NVMe* drives supports SGL even the latest one too.
Now the previous reply you agree with that DC D3600 supports SGL, can you confirm which are all the models that supports scatter/gather (SGL) IO ?
Thanks
Subbu

Hi Subburajr,
Just to explain to you about the previous posts, we want to clarify that we were referring to the data center drives "P" series, none of those support SGL and that includes the latest versions (DC P4500 and DC P4600).On the other hand, the data center NVMe* drives D3600 & D3700 seem to be the only ones with this feature support.We apologize for the confusion and hopefully, this information is helpful for you.Regards,Nestor C
