Senhores,

Marcos_Andrade,
According to our translator, you need to know how exactly the encryption on this drive works.First of all, we would like to let you know the drive comes with AES 256-bit self encryption, that being said, you need to setup the password for it so no one can access your drive, even if it is plugged as a secondary drive. This feature is always enabled and the data is encrypted and decrypted using a key, however, this is transparent to the the user unless you set a password (for example using ATA password security in the BIOS), then the password will be needed to decrypt the encryption key and access the drive. This way, it would be virtually impossible to read the data unless you have the security password.Hope this information works, if you have any other question please let us know.NC07-08-2016 05:40 AM
Marcos_Andrade,
If you remove the SSD and put it in a different system, the drive will be locked with the password and will not let you access the information. Basically you setup the password from BIOS, so the self-encryption can be activated in the actual controller of the SSD, therefore there is no way to access the drive unless you have the master password.NC07-09-2016 10:58 AM
