My 750 1.2TB is always showing Firmware update, but when I go into Firmware update the update button is always greyed out.
I have updated to the Intel Solid-State Drive toolbox 3.4.1.
According to the FAQ I should be upgrading the firmware via the Solid-State Drive toolbox in Windows and not the firmware update tool.
Currently running 8EV10171
Windows 10 Pro
Intel i7-6700K @ 4Ghz
Asus Maximux VIII Motherboard
Any Help??
Thanks

Hello JMeehan,
We understand you would like to update to the latest firmware version for your Intel® SSD 750 Series using the Intel® SSD Toolbox, but are unable to do so since the update button is greyed out.Since Windows® 10 offers native NVMe* support, it's common for users to not realize that they're using the inbox driver. If this is the case, you won't be able to update your firmware using the toolbox, but will need to use the Firmware Update Tool instead. The simplest thing to do will be to first make sure that you're using the latest NVMe* drivers:- https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/26451/Intel-SSD-Data-Center-Family-for-NVMe-Drivers?v=t Intel® SSD NVMe Drivers version 1.8.0.1011 (make sure to reboot afterwards). If this does not resolve the issue, you may want to check to make sure your BIOS is up to date as well:- https://www.asus.com/Motherboards/MAXIMUS-VIII-HERO/HelpDesk_Download/ Asus* Maximux VIII Hero* Downloads.Or, if you prefer, you may also upgrade your firmware using the latest Firmware Update Tool available:- https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/26491/Intel-SSD-Firmware-Update-Tool Intel® SSD Firmware Update Tool- http://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/support/solid-state-drives/000017245.html Firmware Versions for Intel® Solid State DrivesNote: Any links provided for third party tools or sites are offered for your convenience and should not be viewed as an endorsement by Intel® of the content, products, or services offered there.
