I'm looking at a 710 drive, but the 320 seems to have the same attributes.
The docs detail :
E1h Host Writes
The raw value of this attribute reports thetotal number of sectors written by the hostsystem. The raw value is increased by 1 forevery 65,536 sectors (32MB) written bythe host.
and
F1h Total LBAs Written
Counts sectors written by the host.
But in practise the two counters return the same value (at least for me they do).
Are there two distinct attributes for compatibility with certain smart utilities, or is there a real difference between these counters ?
