I'm new to SSDs. My BIOS is in RAID mode, which I'm assuming also enables AHCI. My SSD toolbox says I'm optimized and have the latest firmware as of this writing. I've followed all SSD optimizations listed http://www.tech-forums.net/pc/f128/ssd-tweak-guide-236563/ here. My write performance is slow. What could I be doing wrong?

Your setup in RAID mode with the IRST driver is fine, RAID and AHCI mode are identical for single SSD performance. Your test results are fine, the sequential read and write figures are right at the specs for your 320, which is up to 90MB/s for sequential write speed, even a bit better.
What are you considering to be low write speeds, and why?
