With a AMD CPU , you will probabley have to install the Microsoft AHCI driver to get it working.

Search for microsoft article # 922976 , this will show you how to do this , NOW this envolves some Registry Editing . So if you are not comfortable have someone do this for you. One wrong mistake in REGEDIT can mess up the whole thing. Be careful and follow all the steps just as written. you will be fine . The only other option is to reinstall the OS in AHCI Mode from the begaining.

Hello Robert,
now I found out, my system is too old for an SSD-Drive. But the SSD works well.
Reading speed is 218 MB and writing 62 MB. I disabled a lot of functions, like Prefetch and Superseed and looked at the advises.
So my Mainboard does not support AHCI, how can I trim the SSD. Can I use a free software, wiper-tool?
Thanks
