Hi,
Does anybody experience the same issue as I do?
I'm having random data corruption on my Intel 320 160GB SSD. Sometimes files stay unchanged for weeks and suddenly (when they are in use), the files change.
I know for a fact, since I'm running sha1 and md5 checksums against those files. The files are not modified on an application or system level, since the timestamps for modification remain unchanged.
This is frustrating, and happens seemingly randomly. I've had to re-install Mac OS X a couple of times over a few months.
I'm running a mid-2010 Macbook Pro 15", with 2.4GHz intel Core i5 CPUs and 8GB of RAM. I run Mac OS X 10.6.8

Is SMART reporting any errors?
Does your MacBook use a standard SATA cable or an Apple proprietary "SATA" cable?

Hi DuckieHo.
SMART works fine, and reports no errors.
I'm using the default Apple cable. It is connected to the laptop's logic board. Is there a known problem with it?
