I just bought SSD 510 250GB. Will it work with my Macbook Pro?

I have an early 2011 Macbook Pro. When I bought it, it came with 120GB SSD, which unfortunatelly was too small for me. Therefore, I decided to purchase Intel SSD 510 250GB. I've later discovered that early 2011 MBP models are not compatible with this SSD. I'd like to know whether that's true?

My Macbook Pro serial number is C02FR1J0DF91, if that helps.

I believe that all early 2011 Macbook Pros are SATA 3 compatible, so I don't know why yours would not work with the 510 series.

What do you mean not compatible?

Intel SSDs follow the ATA/SATA standards and that MBP uses Intel storage controllers which also follow the ATA/SATA standards. It should work.
