First time - is this all there is to do?

My first SSD will be here in a couple days and just want to make sure I have everything lined up. I've been reading up on what you need to do to get it working, is this it? Did I miss anything?

From the Intel SSD user guide:

Verify scheduled Defrag is turned off.

Disable Superfetch

Make sure you have the proper drivers installed - Intel Rapid Storage Technology V 9.6?

From else where I read:

Set the bios to AHCI mode when installing Windows

Use the latest Intel RST drivers

Run the optimization tool from the Intel SSD toolbox

Do I need the Toolbox?

What I have:

Intel X25-M Mainstream SSDSA2MH080G2R5 80Gig

Custom computer

Windows 7 Pro 32 bit

Gigabyte MB

Intel Quad Q8400

4G memory

Thanks for any help.

You can also take advantage of the Intel Data Migration Software available at; http://downloadcenter.intel.com/Detail_Desc.aspx?agr=Y&ProdId=3114&DwnldID=19324&lang=eng http://downloadcenter.intel.com/Detail_Desc.aspx?agr=Y&ProdId=3114&DwnldID=19324&lang=eng . This will make the cloning of your existing HDD to your new SSD much easier.
