New build

I'm building an i7 system and in setting up the ssd firmware i was going to first flash my mb, clear cmos, boot into a iso disk with the latest firmware then get around to installing windows. Does that sound right?

random writes for the X25-e drives

hi,why is it that not one SSD manufacturer gives info about the random writes at 4kb?Intel states 3300 iops for the SlC drive, but what about those random writes?Jeff
