ssdsc2bp480g4r5 vs ssdsc2bp480g410

Can anyone tell me the difference with these two model numbers? The specs seem exactly the same. are they perhaps country specific, or is one a more recent model?

Profuse apologies if this is already answered elsewhere, (I'm well short of time to brows extensively at the mo)

Cheers,

They're from different bulk order packages. The one ending in "10" is from the OEM 10-pack; "R5" is from the 5-pack for resellers. It's possible the OEM version has less branding, but the hardware itself should be identical regardless.

Hi wesrt1 , Thanks a lot for that, and the swift reply. I just need to check if there is a warranty difference between OEM & Reseller units,

If the Intel® SSD you own came part of a brand new system, the system manufacturer (OEM) should be the point of contact for the warranty replacement. For units sold as retail, you can contact Intel directly.

Hi Joe_intel,

I don't actually own the ssd yet. I am looking to buy one & found drives with these two model numbers for sale at different prices. Hence the original question.

I suppose my new question is: 1. Should the OEM models be sold separately? & 2. If that's ok, would they still have a 5 year warranty as with the reseller drives?

Cheers,
