my intel ssd model dc s3610 1.6 tb has a password that I did not set and was wondering how to remove it.

I tried to erase it from disk management but it didn't work. I also tried the intel ssd toolbox software to erase it but it didn't either. any help is much appreciated. thank you in advance

Sorry, if passwords were that easily removed or reset, they would not be of much value.

Take your SSD to the nearest recycling facility.

We have reviewed your inquiry and unfortunately, as indicated by community member Al.Hill, your unit can’t be restored; there’s no Master Key or any other kind of unlocking tool provided by Intel® for this purpose.
