Intel ssd 530 nforce mcp79 Asus k70IO

Hi.

Only getting SATA Gen 1 Speed with INTEL 530 SSD on my laptop. CHip is nforce nvidia.

My Laptop have SATA II. Normal hard disk works in SATA II speed.

Could intel correct this bug in the next release firmware to the this drive?

Hi Seto,

I am sorry you are having problems with the SSD but let me help you.

Based on the information you have provided, I recommend you doing the following:

1. Update the BIOS on your computer to latest using the one provided by the Computer Manufacture. Here you can get it:

2. Update the SSD firmware. Here you can download the software:
