Cant boot win & intel 750 pcie Asus Z170M-Plus

Hello,

Every time I try to install Windows 7 to the intel 750, After I load drivers, it tells me that "Windows cannot be installed to this disk", details " Windows in unable to install to the selected loaction. Error: 0x80300001. Windows cannot be installed to the disk. This computer's hardware may not support booting to this disk. Ensure that the disk's controller is enabled in the computers bios menu." The CSM is Enabled, and PCIE Boot is set to UEFI first, and boot control is set to UEFI and legacy oprom. Under secure boot, os type is set to Windows UEFI mode. I am booting from the DVD in UEFI mode, and I can load the drivers, but tere i am stuck... I saw a document that said just click next anyways, but that option is not available (greyed out/inactive control). Please help me get this straitened out! I saw that there were no Z170 boards tested in the compatibility documents, but assumed that was due to the timing of the document release....

truscher,

The Intel® Z170 Chipset is supported. Did you try it with the secure boot disable to see if works? Secure Boot requires a signed firmware.

You can check the document "http://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/support/solid-state-drives/000005967.html?wapkw=intel+ssd+750... Booting with NVMe* PCI Express* for Solid State Drives" for some reference examples and step by step instructions for this process.

Also, make sure you https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/23929/Intel-Solid-State-Drive-Data-Center-Family-for-NVMe-... Download Intel® Solid-State Drive Data Center Family for NVMe Drivers and use it during the OS installation.
