Intel 320 160GB SSD shows as 8mb?

Hello everyone I have a brand new intel 320 160GB SSD and my PC froze so it had to be restarted now it shows my SSD is only at 8mb capacity and wont boot?Is there a fix for this or will I have to send this back?
