Howdy Everyone. Just picked up the Intel 750 1.2TB SSD card. Installed it on my X99 Asus Rampage V board and installed Windows 7 X64 without a problem. However, I am seeing a boot performance issue. This drive is taking about 25 seconds to boot, approximately 13 seconds longer than my Samsung 850 EVO. Did a little Googling on this and apparently, I am not the only one. I have read several reviews and the ones that measure boot time / performance will say this is the slowest SSD to boot. I have provided the link below as an example.

Intel - Is this going to be fixed in a future firmware release? I wont be able to justify keeping this card if first generation SSD's still outperform in terms of booting.
Thanks,

Hello
Do you know if the update will be soon for the improvements in boot time.
Thanks

Hello,
The update is under development and will be integrated into Intel® SSD Data Center Tool. We are working to have this available at the earliest, but there is no ETA set for the release yet.

What kind of reduction in boot times can we expect to see with this update?

Hello SuperConker,
The upgrade is still being developed, so we do not have the details regarding the improvement rate. You can be sure we will provide any new public information as it becomes available.

Hi
I don't own a 750 and therefor I don't have "SSD data center tool" so I can't see any updates regarding this bug, if there is any.
So I registered to this forum just to ask, is this issue fixed yet? If not will you post about it here when it comes out?
My concern is that I don't want to buy any 750 ssds' if this issue can't get addressed. I it can't get fixed then the Samsung new 950 pro will be my option.
