Why is the Intel 750 Slow to boot?

Howdy Everyone. Just picked up the Intel 750 1.2TB SSD card. Installed it on my X99 Asus Rampage V board and installed Windows 7 X64 without a problem. However, I am seeing a boot performance issue. This drive is taking about 25 seconds to boot, approximately 13 seconds longer than my Samsung 850 EVO. Did a little Googling on this and apparently, I am not the only one. I have read several reviews and the ones that measure boot time / performance will say this is the slowest SSD to boot. I have provided the link below as an example.

Intel - Is this going to be fixed in a future firmware release? I wont be able to justify keeping this card if first generation SSD's still outperform in terms of booting.

At this time, the only tool that contains the latest firmware update for the Intel® SSD 750 Series is https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/23931/Intel-Solid-State-Drive-Data-Center-Tool Intel® SSD Data Center Tool, so it is currently the best option.

We expect new releases for Intel® SSD Toolbox and Intel® Firmware Update Tool to be available by October 16, 2015. These tools will also contain the new firmware.

Once i have installed the firmware is it safe to unistall "https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/23931/Intel-Solid-State-Drive-Data-Center-Tool Intel® SSD Data Center Tool" and delete the remanding folders from my c:/ drive? I have OCD about this kind of stuff like it all neat.

You can use Intel® SSD Data Center Tool to monitor and manage the drive after the firmware upgrade, however, it is not needed for the drive to work and If you consider that ISDCT will not longer be required, there should be no problem if you prefer to uninstall it.

After that firmware update my whole PC is noticeable slower, boot up and normal use.
