We installed P4618 on our server. Is it normal that instead of 1 disk device with capacity 6.4TB, we see 2 devices with 3.2TB?

Hello MMokh4,

Yes, it's normal to see 2 devices of 3.2TB because this SSD has the particular feature of including 2 controllers. Each controller manages a half section of the SSD; hence it is shown as 2 separate drives. You can use the drive this way, or if you want to use it as one single drive with full capacity, a RAID 0 array must be set up.

In order to setup the RAID configuration you can use the Intel® Virtual RAID on CPU (Intel® VROC).
