Hi KMook1;

Greetings from Intel® SSD communities.

As we understand your inquiry, you need assistance to perform Benchmarks on your Intel® SSD D3-S4610 Series 240GB, 2.5in SATA 6Gb/s, 3D2, TLC

Please note the SSD’s read and write speeds found on the product brief and ARK page, are the results from tests ran on a laboratory, using "Ideal Conditions", this means, lab engineers used a brand new, empty SSD, on a temperature controlled room, using very powerful systems.

If there is data on the drive, or SSD is running an operating system, SSD will never reach spec sheet speeds on a real world environment.

There are several Third-Party tools available for you to perform benchmarking on your drive, as an example, ATTO* Disk Benchmark is a free software and can be downloaded directly from ATTO's website www.attotech.com/disk-benchmark however, this website might be hard to navigate, so a good alternative is to download it using MajorGeeks* site http://www.majorgeeks.com/files/details/atto_disk_benchmark.html

Prior downloading and running the software; please make sure you have backed up all of your data, please bear in mind, this operation might compromise your information during the tests; after data is backed up, you can run the ATTO* tool, by opening file bench32.exe (there will be only two files in a compressed folder); select the appropriate drive and click start.

The tests should start and you will see the graphs updating with speed readings for your chosen drive.

Please let us know if there’s anything else we can help you with.

We will be available to help you in any way we can.

Have a nice day
