No drivers for Intel 660p 512 GB NVMe on Windows 7?!?!

Hello,

Today I just bought new Intel 660p 512 GB M.2 NVMe SSD, but my Windows 7 64bit cant recognize it?. My motherboard fully supports new NVMe (Gigabyte z370p d3).

I have been looking for 5 hours straight, for drivers, or fixes and i found none, i downloaded at least 4-5 different (Intel and other) programs for driver update etc, and still i got none. On my device manager it says PCI Device unknown. Yet in BIOS i can fully see my new SSD which means it works, and PC reads it.

Is it really true that Windows 7 don't support NVMe SSD? Is there really no drivers for it? Can you please help, as i don't want to upgrade to Win 10 at this point.

Is there any fix or drivers that would make my Windows 7 recognize NVMe SSD?

I did check guide from Intel website, and I dont think it cant fix my current problem. I have allredy instaled windows 7 Ultimate 64x on my older HDD some time ago.

What i need are drivers for Intel 660p NVMe SSD so my current operating system can recognize it in Windows 7, not during instalation.

On your web page i did find some NVMe drivers but for 760P SSD, not for 660p model. Does that mean that 660p model dont have drivers that i can download?

I wanted to use data migration tool, to copy my C drive on SSD so I dont need to do whole Windows reinstall process.

Is it possible to get any kind of drivers that i can launch/install in my current instaled Windows 7 so they can recognize your SSD?

As I didnt want to do whole Windows reinstalation process all again when i put in the SSD.

So my question is: I alredy have Windows 7 installed, and i dont wanna reinstal them, but they dont recognize my new SSD, so is there any drivers, patches, or fixes avaliable, that i can install IN my current windows, without reinstalling them?

Thank you for your reply. The reason why the 660p is not detected is related to the fact that Windows 7 does not have native NVMe drivers; that's why this driver has to be injected manually.
