My Intel 545s seems to begin breaking

KKasa2

I bought my Intel 545s SSD half a year ago, and attached to my laptop.

While I use my laptop with 545s, the number of "Program Fail Count" keeps increasing. It reached 000000000015 recently.

In addition, the number of "Power On Hours" seems not to be increasing. I think it must be at least 500 hours.

Is it safe to continue using this SSD?

545s is my first SSD and I 'm not so familiar with it. Please give me some advice.

Thank you for replying. I have never noticed any other issues yet.

Sorry, I don't understand what you meant.

Which did you meant, "Even though Program Fail Count is high, it's safe because Media Wearout Indicator has not reduced" or "It's normal that Program Fail Count increases at this pace"?

Hello Kasai,

The S.M.A.R.T. attribute (AB) Program Fail Count is an informational parameter, not a pre-fail value. However, if you notice that this and other attributes keep degrading at a fast pace, please https://www.intel.co.jp/content/www/jp/ja/support/contact-support.html?_ga=2.97677855.1671289199.152... contact your local support to confirm if the drive applies for a warranty replacement.Best regards,Eugenio F.
