MediaErrors (Media and Data Integrity Errors) is not zero

I recently got Intel P4510 2TB SSD used drive. I checked CrystalDiskInfo and 'Media and Data Integrity Errors' shows 0x03.

I downloaded Intel SSD Data Center Tool and DeviceStatus is Healthy even though MediaErrors sensor property is 0x03.

Should I worry about this value ? Or it is not something I should worry ?

Any comment will be very appreciated.

Oh, sorry it's 0x3B (not 0x03).

Hello, TOno.

Good day,

Thank you for contacting Intel Community Support.

I checked your ticket regarding the "Media and Data Integrity Errors" parameter, I will be glad to assist you.

More details are not available since this parameter is not reported by our tools, either Intel SSD Toolbox or Intel Data Center Tool (in your case), so we cannot tell exactly what this number means or if there is a threshold, for example, telling you what we can consider a normal value.

If the parameters reported by our tools show no problems and the drive is shown in a "healthy" status, it should be working fine, just make sure it's running the latest firmware.

Let me know if you have any other questions or concerns.

Hi Bruce,

Sorry for not responding sooner.

MediaErrors is one of the outputs from Intel Data Center Tool.

Anyway I contacted Intel Support and already sent my SSD to Intel-INDS. So we can close this thread.

Thank you for your help.
