Intel 535 240GB slows down by a lot

I have an intel 535 SSD 240GB, it's 3 and half years old. OS is win 10 with latest update. A week ago while downloading a game with steam I got an error that it can't write to disk.

Download worked fine on another drive. While copying stuff to SSD it starts fast but then slows down to like 3MB/s after about 2GB of stuff copied.

Crystal Disk Info says that it's 97% healthy and Intel Drive Tool box app full diagnostic scan gave me no errors.

Should I try Secure erase with Intel tool box?

Something else?

Download the latest Intel SSD Toolbox https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/28808/Intel-Solid-State-Drive-Toolbox?product=80096 and check if you can update the SSD firmware.
