Intel 520 series: opening files painfully slow

Hello,

I have an Intel 520 series 120GB SSD on my home computer. Suddenly things opening things like pictures and the time it takes for folders to show up in windows explorer is really slow (like 15 seconds). Anyone know why this might happen?
