Pims,

Depending on the issue, you may have the SSD replaced, so it is highly recommended that if you want to have your data recovered, please do so before you send it.

If for some reason you cannot save the data somewhere and decide to use third-party recovery tools, you will need to make sure this process is not going to void the warranty on your drive. Here is some important information on this matter:

How you can check your warranty: http://www.intel.com/p/en_US/support/warranty Warranty Center

In case an RMA is needed: http://www.intel.com/support/ssdc/hpssd/sb/cs-031625.htm Intel® High PerformancRegistration, Warranty, and Return Material Authorization (RMA)

Warranty period: http://www.intel.com/support/ssdc/hpssd/sb/CS-029645.htm Intel® SSD Warranty Period

Your best option would be to contact via phone or chat (depending on your region), your nearest Intel Contact Center so you can talk directly with one of our technicians so we can help you find the best and most efficient procedure depending on the issue found. Thanks for your answer Aleki.

I've contacted support but it said that i needed to recover data first, and then it will be taken by intel warranty center, and destroyed. I've no other solution for him. But in fact, the data recovery process will surely void the warranty on my drive. That's why i would like to have it back after the warranty procedure.

The guy i had wasn't in France, and wasn't able to give me any other contact, and advised me to ask trough the community.

Do i've any solution to make changing this procedure?

Thanks again.

If you are located in The U.S.A, you can take a look at this link as they are related to companies that can recover data: http://www.intel.com/support/ssdc/hpssd/sb/CS-034382.htm Intel® High Performance Solid-State Drives — Data Recovery Options for the Intel® SSD 320 Series - However, if you are located outside The U.S.A, you may try this other alternative as they have services worldwide: http://www.drivesaversdatarecovery.com/recovery-services/dialing-instructions/ Data Recovery by DriveSavers | All Drives, RAID, SSD & iPhones
