i7-7700K have not use Intel Remote Secure Erase(RSE)(Intel® vPro™ No).

Chage processor to i5-7600 with Intel® vPro™ Yes and now it work.

Hello Rim13.

Thank you for contacting Intel Technical Support. As we understand, you need assistance with the Intel® Remote Secure Erase if we inferred correctly, please check the information below: Intel® Remote Secure Erase is implemented on select platforms as part of the Intel® vPro™ platform feature set, and is used to wipe an Intel SSD using Intel® Active Management Technology. Without having support for this feature, wiping the drive with local tools like the Intel® SSD Toolbox is still an option. If the goal is to set a password for the SSD to take advantage of the SSD's AES encryption, that option is dependent on BIOS implementation of the motherboard provider. We advise you to contact Asus to check if this feature is available in your board. We hope you find this information useful.Best regards,Josh B.Intel Customer Support TechnicianUnder Contract to Intel Corporation

Hello Rim13.

Thank you for your reply. Based on the information you provided seems to be that https://software.intel.com/en-us/blogs/2016/04/18/intel-amt-remote-secure-erase this guide will be useful to you. Please take into consideration that as part of the requirements a BIOS supporting Remote Secure Erase capability is a most. We advise you to contact Asus to check if this feature is available in your board. As you mentioned: "I am trying to setup RSE, but in BIOS I can`t find the needed option to setup password for SSD." As part of the expected flow for implementing the RSE solution, we request to sets the user and master hard drive password on the PC before deploying it to the employee. We checked your original equipment manufacturer (OEM) https://www.asus.com/Motherboards/PRIME-Q270M-C/HelpDesk_Manual/ website and we were not able to find any guide or information on how to set up this feature. We strongly advise you to contact your OEM in order to get further information if your system supports this feature. We hope you find this information useful.Best regards,Josh B.Intel Customer Support TechnicianUnder Contract to Intel Corporation
