I have an Intel Pro 2500 SSD. eDrive is enabled. I know when you install Windows 8 it will automatically provision the drive and activates Opal, however I installed Windows 10 and Opal did not activate. Is there something I need to do, or is this feature not supported under windows 10?

Hello mconti85,
The retail version of Intel® SSD Pro 2500 is compatible with Trusted Computing Group* (TCG*) Opal Security Subsystem Class (SSC) Specification Version 2.0 and Windows eDrive*. From the SSD side, once you enable eDrive* using https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/24007/Intel-SSD-Pro-Administrator-Tool Intel® SSD Pro Administrator Tool you should be able to continue the configuration, however, please keep in mind that there are many other requirements for eDrive*, not only a compatible SSD.
Here is a document that contains important information about this topic:
You might want to make sure you are using the most recent firmware version for your SSD with https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/18455/Intel-Solid-State-Drive-Toolbox Intel® SSD toolbox, version 3.3.1.
If it does not work even with latest firmware and eDrive* enabled, you might want to check with the PC manufacturer if your PC supports this feature. You can find some examples of tested systems (from 2014) in the document:

Here are some documents from Microsoft explaining Bitlocker* requirements and configuration, so you can confirm if your system is compatible with it, and the steps required to enable this feature:*NOTE: These links are being offered for your convenience and should not be viewed as an endorsement by Intel of the content, products, or services offered there.https://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/mt404675(v=vs.85).aspx BitLocker (Windows)

I have the latest firmware on my SSD. My computer was a custom build by me. I am using an ASUS Sabretooth X99 motherboard. I have watched the video from intel
http://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/solid-state-drives/ssd-pro-2500-series-edrive-enabling-video.... http://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/solid-state-drives/ssd-pro-2500-series-edrive-enabling-video.... however I feel the video is incomplete, it does not tell how any of the settings in bios you need to change or verify or anything. If someone could provide me a step by step guide including how to setup bios etc. that would be great.

Hello mconti85,
In this case, we advise you to contact the http://www.intel.com/support/oems.htm Motherboard Manufacturer Support so they can let you know the settings required in the BIOS and any additional actions needed to enable eDrive* functionality in your system.
BIOS settings are specific from system to system, and unfortunately we do not keep the details for every possible configuration. The Intel® SSD Pro 2500 supports the technology, once you enable eDrive* with the administrator's tool, you should not have any problems using it in a system compatible with Bitlocker*.

Another resource (with more info than the video and some Microsoft links) is here: http://www.intel.com/content/dam/www/public/us/en/documents/solution-briefs/ssd-pro-2500-series-edri... http://www.intel.com/content/dam/www/public/us/en/documents/solution-briefs/ssd-pro-2500-series-edri...…
Quick thoughts...is your system in UEFI mode with CSM disabled? Has the drive been secure erased (or at least an uninitialized state) before doing the OS install?
Thanks, Doug/Intel
