Hi,
I'm interested in using the latching capabilities on SATA signal and power cables with the X-25 2.5" G2 drive. I've been told that this is not possible now, but newer drives may implement this. What is the ETA on this capability on these drives? Are there any Intel drives currently available that support this, and where in the datasheets would this information be? Is there a stopgap measure such as an Intel-supplied or a third-party retaining clip that will fit between the drive and the mounting hardware and lock in these connectors?
I'd really like to be able to do this using off-the-shelf parts rather than have to design this myself.
Thanks.
