My Benchmark results are looking quite similar, but on a higher level.

System: 2 x 160 GB Intel G2 SSD's currently as non-RAID connected with the ICH10R SATA AHCI Controller under Win7 x64.

Here are the results:

1. Native Win7 AHCI driver (MSAHCI.SYS):

2. Intel RST AHCI driver v9.6.0.1014 (IASTOR.SYS):

So Fernando is seeing a slight increase with the iaStor drivers as well.

Maybe its due to the 64bit drivers under Windows 7, I am running that too.

However, my 1TB and 2 x 1,5TB drives connected to the ICH10 controller seem to be quite a bit slower with the iaStor driver.

Without looking at benchmark results, do you experience a difference in computer operation? If yes, what?

Has anybody tried this on a laptop??
