Hello,
I have just bought new ssd 520 SSDSC2CW120A3 drive to my Samsung R580 laptop. Intel rapid technology software shows that my controller is: Intel(R) 5 Series 4 Port SATA AHCI Controller and that drive works in mode 3Gb/s. Strange thing is that HD tune benchmark shows average read speed of 170 MB/s. I believe that on SATA 2 this should be around 270 MB/s. I am right?
I tried to update bios, drivers and etc. but with no luck. Any help or suggestion would be very appreciated.Below system info:
