If you bought a 120 GB drive, you definitely, certainly, absolutely have the most current firmware (as of this post). The only reason I make the qualification at the end is because I don't want someone to read this post months and months down the road and get angry that there's been a new firmware release. But as of today, you're golden. Hope that helps.

Nick, the new firmware has existed for a long time (relative to the existence of the Intel SSD) and has been used in SSDs made by Intel for likely at least a year now. My oldest Intel SSD is early 2010 production, and it has that firmware. Yours is a new model, so not an issue.
