SSD X25-M 80GB with only 8MEGAbytes available

A few days ago I bought an Acer Aspire Timeline AS3810t-6775 which came with an Intel SSD X25-M 80GB. After 2 days of operation, the HD simply recognizes only 8 megabytes. In the BIOS, Serial Number field is shown BAD_CTX. I wonder if Intel has a fix...

New Firmware and Raid 0

I plan on putting a pair of x25 g2 in a new Dell xps 8000(i7860) in raid 0. The 2 drives I have are the oem version and are untouched (SSDSA2MH080G2C1). Should I even bother trying to put the new firmware on these drives? Thanks for any input.

Weird problem with X-25m G2

Does anyone know why my 4k read/write is so much slower than other people with the same drive??? Its a brand new X-25m G2 drive. I even used HHDErase 3.3 to secure erase the drive when i first benchmarked it. I thought something was wrong with it. B...
