320 160GB or 510 120GB - Which one fits my needs best?

Hey there!

I'm about to get one of the upper mentioned drives but I'm not yet sure which one.

The MOST important thing to me is the application startup performance. The faster

the application pops up the happier I am 🙂

In terms of 4k performance the 320 is better than the 510 but nevertheless the 510

boots up faster than the 320, which is afaik also a 4k related process.

I'm confused - any help?

Boot up isn't just purely a 4K random read process though. Which reviewer has a boot time difference between the two drives? I haven't seen one so I am curious if there is a big difference.

However...first things, first... do you have a SATA 6Gb/s controller?
