MotherBoard: ASUS ROG STRIX Z270E GAMING

SSD: Intel SSD6 500 GB

Processor: Intel 7th Gen Intel Core Desktop Processor i7-7700K

PSU: EVGA Supernova GQ 1000W 210-GQ-1000-V1

RAM: 16 GB Corsair Vengeance LPX 16GB DDR4 3200 C16

Graphics Card: ASUS GeForce GTX 1080 8GB ROG STRIX

Software: Windows 10 64 bit

I am building a custom gaming pc and I assembled everything and booted it up with no problems. I then went on to install several programs and games and was on for a few hours. I shutdown my pc and the next day when I try to turn on my pc it is stuck on the "Press DEL or F2 to enter UEFI BIOS Settings". I can't turn it off using the power button and I'm forced to unplug it and replug it to shut it down. I have tried putting the SSD in different slots and it lets me boot up the 1st time but after I shut down it gets stuck again! I have the latest version of BIOS. HELP!!!

Hi Louis_,
We understand your SSD is no longer booting up the operating system after you shutdown the computer. We do suggest you to follow the advice from Gize2 and make sure to have the SSD in the latest update version, you can try to do this from Windows* as well, using the https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/26574/Intel-Solid-State-Drive-Toolbox Intel® Solid-State Drive Toolbox.Another thing you can try is to check the BIOS on your system and disable the fast boot or secure boot and test it.Please let us know if this works, to further assist you.Regards,Nestor C

Hi Louis_,

You can follow this link to troubleshoot your Intel SSD not recognized problem:http://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/support/memory-and-storage/000005872.html Troubleshooting Recognition Issues for Intel® Solid State Drives

If you still have problems after these solutions, AOMEI Partition Assistant can help you out. create a bootable media with a normal Windows 10 64-bit computer, then boot up your computer with the bootable media, then run Partition Assistant to troubleshoot the issues about the Intel SSD. Warning: Please backup your SSD drive in case of data loss.

Regards,

Ailsa
