I need to flash my Intel SSD 540S, I create a bootable USB-drive based on this SSD-image. Firmware Update Tool 2.1.7, guided by this guide http://www.intel.com/content/dam/support/us/en/documents/solid-state-drives/Intel_SSD_FUT_2.1.x_User_Guide.pdf http://www.intel.com/content/dam/support/us/en/documents/solid-state-drives/Intel_SSD_FUT_2.1.x_User_Guide.pdf the problem is that the flash drive starts but stops loading the FTU shell. We understand you are having issues upgrading the firmware on the SSD, due to the FUT error during the boot process.
