Hello Fisker,
Thank you for your question. There are many compatible motherboards using the Intel® H170 Chipset. However we cannot guarantee compatibility based on the chipset only.- http://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/support/solid-state-drives/consumer-ssds/000022677.html Motherboards Supporting the Intel® SSD 600p/Pro 6000p/E 6000p Series.- http://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/support/solid-state-drives/000022378.html Frequently Asked Questions for Intel® SSD 600p/Pro 6000p Series. The main requirement for the http://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/solid-state-drives/solid-state-drives-600p-series.html Intel® SSD 600p Series is a storage M.2 slot, supporting PCIe* NVMe* generation 3.0 by 4 lanes.

The Intel H170 includes DMI3 support, which means it will support the full bandwidth requirements of an Intel 600p. The H170 chipset itself won't be a limiting factor on a mother board when using a 600p.
