SSD for Supermicro X75PA-HF Built-in ICH9/9R SATA Controller

Hi,

I need to update several Supermicro 502-2 servers with X75PA-HF motherboard. We would like to use SSD disks but SATA connectors are SATA II 3Gbps. The server supports 2 2.5" disks. Which SSD family is compatible with these motherboard and integrated SATA controller. We need 1-Tb of storage

I have already reviewed information from the different families you have.

I would like to confirm if http://ark.intel.com/products/94452/Intel-SSD-Pro-5400s-Series-1_0TB-2_5in-SATA-6Gbs-16nm-TLC Intel® SSD Pro 5400s Series (1.0TB, 2.5in SATA 6Gb/s, 16nm, TLC) will work on my motherboard with SATA II (3 Gbps) interface. I know that the disk will not work at 6 Gbps but just confirm that I could use these SSD drive

I also reviewed these model (my server can use 2 disks)

Intel 320 Series 2.5" 600GB SATA II MLC Internal Solid State Drive (SSD) SSDSA2CW600G3B5

These drive has SATA II interface but again I would like to confirm that the disk will work with my motherboard.

As we understand, you intend to use the Intel® SSD on a server, perhaps you would like to consider and look at the Intel® Data Center SSDs such as thehttp://ark.intel.com/compare/82934,82933 Intel® SSD DC S3610 Series for example and information only. You are welcome to choose from the link we have informed in our previous interaction.

Important to keep in mind that SATA controllers are backwards compatible and can have a SATA III working on a SATA II but the only difference here is that it will not work as fast.
