topic SSD Toolbox: ANALYZER.EXE has begun crashing when trimming in Solid State Drives (NAND)

Hi,

I have used SSD toolbox 3.0.1 with my X25 G2 120 Gb for a long time, manually running the trim/optimization command (not scheduled) about every week or so. For at least six months this has worked fine, and for longer if we include previous versions of the SSD toolbox. But since yesterday the program crashes whenever I try to run the optimization. I have since updated to version 3.0.5 of the toolbox but no change.

It says analyzer.exe has stopped working and then there is a bug report as per below. Any ideas what is going on here? I don't think I have installed or updated anything since the last time I successfully ran the optimization.

Actually what it does is: I click the RUN-button to initiate optimization, whereupon the warning dialog pops up and there I click START. The program advances to 34% and stops there for a while as it always has. But instead of finishing after a few seconds the Windows error message appear on screen. When I click away that message I get the "100% Command finished" successfully displayed in the optimizer. So the program tells me it worked but it, or rather one of its modules, has also crashed in the meantime. So how can I trust that 100% message?

I am using Windows 7 ultimate 64-bit. Actually, thinking about it I *may* have updated the OS to SP1 since the last time I successfully ran the optimizer.

Problem signature:
Problem Event Name: APPCRASH Application Name: Analyzer.exe Application Version: 0.0.0.0 Application Timestamp: 4d49ee6f Fault Module Name: MSVCR90.dll Fault Module Version: 9.0.30729.4940 Fault Module Timestamp: 4ca2e32e Exception Code: 40000015 Exception Offset: 0000000000042686 OS Version: 6.1.7601.2.1.0.256.1 Locale ID: 1053 Additional Information 1: 8586 Additional Information 2: 85862f9a9036c801e4351e5225d8eb67 Additional Information 3: 6e9d Additional Information 4: 6e9d93608b54911b9e696bc7fc3e59b8
