I tried the SSD in 3 different PCs and it shows issues in all of them.

Ubuntu 17.10: lspci shows the device correctly. But can't read/write. LEDs in solid red and amber.

Windows 8 and Windows 10: Device Manager shows it's a Standard NVM Express Controller, but reports "This device cannot start (Code 10)". LEDs in solid red and green.

Then I tried your SSD Data Center Tool. "isdct show -intelssd" shows: No results.

I have a P4600 SSD in my Ubuntu PC. It went dead just about 1 hour ago, as I can't perform any read/write. I notice the LEDs are in solid RED and solid AMBER. I can't find product spec for P4600. But for P3600, solid RED means it's in "disable logical mode". How do I fix this issue?

It's OK if any repair wipes out my data. I just want to get the drive back to a working state.

Thanks.

Hello yaolin,
Thanks for being part of our community. We understand your Intel® SSD P4600 Series is showing a solid red LED and data can't be read/written.Just for testing, can you move the SSD to a different PCIe slot or install it on a different system altogether? Also, is the drive visible by the OS in any way? We recommend to check the drive status using https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/27497/Intel-SSD-Data-Center-Tool?product=87278 Intel® SSD Data Center Tool.Best regards,Eugenio F.
