Hi All

I'm planning a new system build and am wanting to use one of the new 14nm Broadwell-E asus mobo's, the x99-a II

I see it has one u.2 and one m.2 connection.

I know the SSDPE2MW400G4R5 says 'requires SFF-8643 Connector on Motherboard' (U.2) and includes the cable.

Does this mean the SSDPE2MW400G4R5 can connect to both U.2 and M.2 slots on the mobo? And that the SSDPE2MW400G4X1 can only connect to the M.2 slot?

I am a little confused between the two and any clarification on the pros/cons of each would be appreciated.

As we understand you would like to know about the difference between those two Intel® SSD 750 Series 400GB.Checking the model numbers you provided, the drive is the same, the U.2 version of the SSD.Actually we only have two versions of the Intel® SSD 750 Series, please check this http://ark.intel.com/compare/86742,86740 link.
