Hi, I am a bit confused about the connectors, I was looking at the P3700 and it looks like HHHL AIC and 2.5inch, is the 2.5 a regulat SATA/SAs connection?

Hey all, we currently use the Samsung Pro 850 SSD drives in our Dell desktops today but want something a bit faster and am looking into the Intel 750....but as far as I can tell the Intel 750 (2.5" or the PCIe) won't fit into the desktop motherboards (different connectors or whatever among other things)......any ideas on how to get around this? Is there another SSD that I should look at that is comparable/faster than the 750s (Intel or non-Intel)?

Thanks.

EtsRad,

There are some requirements you need to meet before getting the Intel® Solid State Drive 750 Series, please check the following link: http://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/support/solid-state-drives/consumer-ssds/000005797.html Before You Buy an Intel® Solid State Drive

Regarding a similar drive, as for consumer use the Intel® Solid State Drive 750 Series is the fastest drive we currently have, however, there are some Data Center drives you can also try, here is a link with a comparison between the Intel® Solid State Drive 750 Series and Intel® SSD DC P3700 Series: http://ark.intel.com/compare/86740,79624 ARK | Compare Intel® Products

Please let us know if you need something else

EtsRad,

In the following link http://ark.intel.com/compare/88735,86740,79624 ARK | Compare Intel® Products you can also compare one of the other series, the Intel® SSD DC P3608 Series. There are some difference on this one, for example, the interface it uses is PCIe NVMe 3.0 x8.

The Intel® SSD 750 series was released only as a PCIe NVMe interface since this is a new model and right now, this series, will be NVMe drives.
