My question is a little complicated, it's the drivers code level.

I have a driver which use SGL mode to transfer data. But now the status code of completion queue entry is 0x04 when I use SGL mode.

so, what could I do to make the Intel SSD DC P3600 to support SGL data pointers in NVM Command Set ?

The Firmware version of my P3600 is 8DV10131. Could I solve this problem through updating the firmware using Intel SSD DCT2.3.1 ?

Hello hannah_zhu,

Thank your for your time. As per this documentation: http://www.intel.com/content/dam/www/public/us/en/documents/product-specifications/ssd-dc-p3600-spec.pdf Intel® Solid State Drive DC P3600 Series - Product Specification page # 23, section 5 - Supported Commands Sets does not mention SGL Data pointers as supported in firmware. We are going to forward your inquiry to our engineers.

The SGL Data pointer which I mean is one part of a NVM Command Sets, exactly in the Command Dwords 9 to 6 according to the NVMe specification. The engineers will know this much about it.

Thank you a lot.
