Hello, jesuz.

Good day,

This post is to follow up on your thread regarding the SSD firmware.

I previously shared that we do not offer a tool to "re-flash" the SSD firmware, but the Intel MAS can be used to perform a firmware update, if available, and can also be used to monitor the SSD health. I also wanted to get some additional details, but there was no response after trying to follow up.

The thread will be closed right now and no longer monitored for support, if you require assistance, please open a new thread or contact us via one of the other support methods (https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/support/contact-support.html#@19).

If you require any type of assistance from Intel in the future, you can always contact us back.

Best regards,

Bruce C.

Intel Customer Support Technician

Hello, jesuz.

Thank you for posting in the Intel Community Support forum.

I received your thread regarding the failed Intel® SSD DC S3700 Series, I will be glad to assist you.

There is no method to "reflash" the SSD firmware, the tools we offer can try to detect the SSD and perform a firmware update (if available).

Have you tried checking with the Inte Memory and Storage Tool:

- Download: https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/30262?v=t

- User and installation guides are available on the same page.

- How to View Drive Details, Update Firmware, and View/Export SMART Logs: https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/support/articles/000055927/memory-and-storage.html

Additionally, I would like to know the following:

- How long ago did you purchase the uni?

- Did you purchase the SSD as "brand new" or did it come preinstalled in the system?

I will follow up on April 8th or we can schedule a different date if necessary.

Best regards,

Bruce C.

Intel Customer Support Technician
