Issues running "check for update" on Intel solid state toolbox

l ssdI am getting an error running an update through the Intel Solid State Toolbox. It is something to do with microsoft .net framework. However, I can not do a reinstall of .net framework on Windows 8.1. The dialog error box is listed below.

My computer specs

Windows 8.1

ASROCK Extreme3 motherboard

AMD FX-6100 processor

8 GB

Geforce EVGA 760 GTX 4 GB Graphics card.

I am sorry the issue.

There is the option to repair Microsoft*'s .NET framework from Programs and Features. You just need to highlight this software component and click "Uninstall/Change", then continue with the wizard using "Repair…" until it completes.
